Jean Schlumberger joined Tiffany & Co.in 1956.In the postwar 1950s, Jean Schlumberger was boldly backed by Tiffany.In Tiffany & Co. he had the freedom to explore uncharted territory, mixing yellow beryls, amethysts, emeralds, sapphires and aquamarines in mountings of yellow gold to create classic pieces such as the “Bird of Paradise” clip.His translucent paillonne enamel bracelets also captured the attention of beautiful women.
Today, Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger designs are found in the collections of museums and individuals worldwide.
