In Tiffany Family,Charles Lewis Tiffany is well known,but hereI have to say another person—Louis Comfort Tiffany.Louis Comfort Tiffany was born the son of Charles Lewis Tiffany, he also has splendid achievements.
Louis Comfort Tiffany was a celebrated and talented jewelry and glass designer.Probably his work with decorative glass is best remembered.His patent for opalescent window glass in 1881 and his commissions for Mark Twain, Cornelius Vanderbilt and many others earned him an international reputation. In 1902 Louis Comfort Tiffany became Tiffany & Co.’s first Design Director, creating fantastic jewelry designs inspired both by nature and the art of other cultures.His work has been honored by museums and treasured by collectors around the world.
